In today's fast pace society, there is no time to rest. As a result, what suffers most is your health. It starts with unhealthy eating habits which lacks most of the important nutrients. Then, slowly when your body starts showing symptoms, you ignore them. This has been seen more in men than in women. Men are usually quite ignorant of their health. This can be seen as men are usually at a higher risk of heart attacks, cardiovascular diseases and Parkinson’s disease to name a few. This is a result of the lifestyle choices of men-greater incidents of smoking and alcohol consumption and their oblivious attitude towards their health.
Here is a list of 5 serious symptoms that men should not ignore at any cost.

1) Urinary problems- Problems while peeing can be serious. If you frequent the washroom more in the night or if you have trouble peeing or if you notice blood, then it is an indication that you should consult your doctor. Symptoms like these can lead to serious health hazards like prostate cancer due to enlarged prostates, or kidney stones or inflammation of the bladder.

2) Chest pains- Frequent chest pains are something that should not be taken lightly. Chest pains do not always mean heart attacks; they can cause other serious health problems as well like pneumonia, pulmonary disorders which can be very dangerous later on. This happens usually because of the increase in stress levels and pressure which has adverse consequences on your health.

3) Dental problems- It is usually easy to ignore the effects of poor mouth hygiene as they are hidden inside the mouth but if ignored, it can lead to something very serious. If you have a bad breath, bleeding or painful gums or if you are losing your teeth, it could be signaling poor mouth hygiene. There are many symptoms that may not show up right away but eventually with time they could get worse. So, whenever you notice something irregular, you should always consult your doctor for advice.

4) Erectile Dysfunction- If you are not able to have a healthy sex life due to problems in erections, it could be because of erectile dysfunction. It is usually caused due to chronic alcoholism, high levels of cholesterol, stress, and smoking. It could also be a side effect of some medications. Men with ED are at a higher risk of heart diseases. It is also an early symptom of cardiovascular disease.

5) Excessive Snoring- Snoring is a symptom of Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS). If you get up while snoring, then it could be because of OSAS. This can cause high levels of blood pressure, irregular heart beat and heart attacks. If you notice such a symptom in your partner then you should try changing his position during his sleep-that might help. Also, reduction in levels of alcohol and weight loss would also help in sleeping better.
